Mood: waiting for wind
25th April 2009
Windsurfing: Eastbourne - Spray
Wind Direction: SE - ESE
Wind Stength: 8 knots
Surf / Sea State: small swell gen flat
Air Temperature: toasty
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: sunny and less windy than hoped
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Lighter winds than promised .... but sunny and some wind so loaded up the trusty 5.8m Superfreak and Kona 10'5 and enjoyed an hour and half or so of float and surf with some sail spinny freestyle too.
Forgot just how narrow the 10'5 is so fell off a few times tipping it during transitions.
Got a few duck sail 360's on starboard but struggled on port. Boomerangs and helitacks were abismal if honest. Switch stance stuff was well wobbly.
If it'd been summer I'm sure I'd have gone for loads more, but once loosened up a bit was trying more stuff and enjoying getting wet when flunked it.
Lovely day to play, and no problems staying upwind either, even with tide running towards the pier.
